There are certain events in Tasuki's past that may coincidentally connect somehow to the present. In other instances, personality and mannerisms also play a key factor in linking Tasuki to his fellow comrades, even his foes.
I decided to link these key events, displaying them in a comparison mode where Tasuki is placed against a character who he had at least one similarity with. The amount of similarities recorded will be the basis of a rating system, the best being extremely alike. The ratings are suspected to change if the traits and experiences are updated. All ratings are out of five.

Miaka
Similar traits: Hasty, Likes to consume (Tasuki: liquor, Miaka: food).
Similar experiences: Like Reirei, a young 14 year old girl from Tasuki's past, Miaka was also kidnapped by the Mt. Leikaku bandit.

Tamahome
Similar traits: Likes teasing (esp. each other), Loves Miaka.
Similar experiences: Shared a kiss with Miaka.
They both are skilled in martial arts. Tasuki's fighting skills is on par with Tamahome's.

Hotohori
Similar traits: Loves Miaka, Holds a position of leadership.
Similar experiences: Both of them had a battle with Tamahome while he was still under the poison spell concocted by Nakago. The only minor difference is that Tasuki wasn't able to defend himself for Miaka's sake and plight. However, overall, they were both trying to protect her.
Shared a kiss with Miaka.

Chichiri
Similar traits: ?
Similar experiences: One of the only two Suzaku warriors that remained alive.
Both had influential role models at a certain point in their lives. Tasuki had Hakurou, his predecessor and former leader of the Mt. Leikaku bandits. He earned the fire-spewing Tessen after succedding him. Chichiri went to Mt Taikioykou to train under Taiitsukun where he learned to manipulate ki.

Similar experiences: They both lost someone very close to them, the one they looked up to as a mentor - Hakurou.
