The fifth of the Suzaku Seven. Recognized by his fiery orange-red hair, pointed incisors, cool coats, short temper and great sense of humor. His bad boy exterior and attitude has earned him a liking amongst most Fushigi Yuugi fans.

He's the youngest brother of five sisters and has a grave discontentment towards women. He left home at an early age eventually becoming a member of the Mt. Leikaku bandits. There is where he earned his nickname Genrou ("Phantasm Wolf"), bequeathed to him by the former leader, Hakurou. Kouji, one of the bandits became his best friend.
